YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Hi, I’m Morgana Best.
I started selling direct from my own websites in 2003. I’ve hit Top 10 on the Amazon store and #1 on the other retailers. (On the paid rankings, of course, not free books, and whole store, not categories.) My pen name and I hit the USA Today Bestseller list multiple times. When I stopped to consider who benefited the most from my hard work, I returned to focus on selling direct.

Forget what you know about ads for selling on retailers!
Ecommerce SALES ads are worlds apart from Traffic ads.
Learn from somebody who has been doing it for decades!
Are you ready for Facebook Ecommerce ads?
Facebook Sales ads are nothing like Traffic ads to the retailers.
Facebook ads must go to a nicely set up store, not to a terrible messy page and/or a non converting page.
Before you run Facebook ecommerce ads, consider the following.
Have you addressed the colour of your buy and cart buttons?
Do you have your 'hooky' text above the fold -- or is that valuable space wasted with the wrong information?
Do you overly emphasise how to download the books? (Not good!)
The story doesn’t stop with Facebook ads – it starts there. Ads get people to your store, and if they don’t buy at the time then Klaviyo has the opportunity to pick them up. You need to have ecommerce flows in place for browse abandonment, abandoned checkout, abandoned cart, birthday flows, and so on.
Basically, a Facebook ad is cost of customer acquisition. Forget everything you’ve learned about ads to the retailers. With ecommerce, it’s more than simply making a sale; it’s acquiring a customer.
It’s not instant.
It takes time to test Facebook ads. They don’t go into profit immediately, and even when they do, the initial profit to cold audiences might be minimal.
Forget anything you’re seeing about people making a fortune selling direct and attributing it to Facebook ads – these people were already making that on the retailers, and the ads simply leveraged their hot and warm audiences.
This is a big subject, so do not go into it with unrealistic expectations. Do not go into it with a messy and/or non converting store..
You also need to have a budget to get better results. The more money somebody has, the better results they will get with sales ads.
You can practise with $10 a day, but this would be for a single ad. $50 a day would get you much better results. $100 would get you even better results, and so on.
Having said that, please bear in mind that Facebook ads are part of the picture. They need to work in concert with two things: 1) a properly set out store and 2) good email and SMS marketing flows in Klaviyo.
If you don’t have the above, you will waste your money. Sure, you’ll get results with your hot and warm audiences, but these are limited audiences.
So, see Facebook ads as part of the whole, not the whole.
This course teaches you how to set up and run Facebook ecommerce ads. I do not do your ads for you. I teach you how to do them.
